New Vision Architecture ARCHITECTURAL DESIGN Te Awamutu’s New Vision Architecture is working within a rapidly growing community and providing client-focused architectural services, high quality renders, easy to read plans, and full involvement throughout design process to ensure high quality results in new homes and commercial buildings. He started New Vision Architecture in 2008 in the middle of the Global Financial Crisis, and while his new studio was getting off the ground he did some building work as well. “I was designing them and then building them, just until we started to get busy at New Vision,” he says. “Building gave me a really good insight into the construction industry and the buildability and readability of my plans. Clients like the fact that I also understand the building side of their project.” Jason says while Cambridge has always been growing, expansion and development in Te Awamutu have really taken off in recent years. New Vision Architecture works with local subdivision developers and Jason says when new developments fall outside of the district plan, his company can be engaged to provide a house design for every site in order to bring the subdivision into compliance. A recent project for ZB Homes saw New Vision Architecture designing 15 homes for a Alexandra/Totara Street site where the smaller easy care sections would not have gained consent without designs due to their size. For developments like these, New Vision Architecture provides photo-realistic 3D renders to help clients generate interest and draw in potential buyers in the early stages of their project. New Vision Architecture is capable of completing very large scale projects and has been involved with the still growing Highfield Country Estate retirement village for the past few years. “Initially there was about seven different designs for the first 116 villas, then we went on to design the village lodge which was completed in 2017.
