Alfresco Pools is a small family business owned by Tim and Karla Hall. Tim has been building concrete pools for 28 years and he started Alfresco Pools in 2007. The brief was for a spectacular pool on the water’s edge with an unobstructed view across the ocean. “Because it’s a holiday home, they wanted a really easy care pool, and to be able to just turn up and have it ready to go,” Karla says. “We’ve used a Covrex slatted automatic pool cover and a fully automatic salt water filtration system, and everything is controlled via an app on their phones. They can tell the app what time they are going to arrive and the spa will be hot and the pool will be heated when they get there.” Alfresco Pools’ biggest focus has always been on the quality finishing work completed to the highest possible standard.
