OneStaff has been a major force in industrial recruitment for nearly 30 years, with 15 branches spread across 12 regions in New Zealand, specialising in recruitment across construction, engineering, manufacturing, production, logistics, and supply chain sectors. OneStaff CEO, Jon Ives is delighted the Auckland branch is a finalist in the small to medium workplace category within the 2024 Best Places to Work Awards. “This is for companies with 50 to 150 employees and it’s our first time entering these particular awards, so we’re excited to attend the awards ceremony on September 25th which will reveal the rankings,” says Jon. Jon highlights that the behaviour within an organisation shapes the overall culture: “We get to see what works best and what doesn’t across a vast array of business types, ultimately recognising that workplace culture is always evolving and based on the people within your team, the behaviour and expectations you mutually accept, that is the culture you create.” Being an awards finalist confirms One Staff Auckland’s own findings from its NPS and engagement scores from clients and candidates. “Our current satisfaction scores were 89% for internal staff, 71% for clients and 76% for candidates which are outstanding levels to achieve in a particularly challenging economy for all stakeholders and indicative of the service-based proposition we deliver to market.” By comparison, the Australian and New Zealand recruitment industry averages at the end of the 2023 financial year was 35% for candidates and clients, -2% in financial year 24.
