98 | JOINERY Kitchens R Us T T Bernadette Cooney Making more than beautiful kitchens “We design and make beautiful kitchens, yes, but we’re a team equipped to handle a wide range of interior joinery projects, including laundry rooms, custom wardrobes and storage solutions, home offices and bespoke cabinetry.” Kitchens R Us is a name synonymous with trust and quality in New Zealand. Proudly family-owned and run, the company has been serving the Bay of Plenty and Waikato regions since 1987, and it’s no surprise that they have been recognised by Reader’s Digest as one of the most trusted kitchen manufacturers in New Zealand – earning the highly recommended award, six years in a row. Testament to their dedication to excellence, the award is indicative of the company’s commitment to craftsmanship and bespoke joinery solutions for kitchens, laundries and wardrobes across the residential and commercial building sector. Located at Mount Manganui in the Bay of Plenty, and Hamilton in the Waikato, Kitchens R Us is a full-service design, make and install company delivering bespoke dream kitchens for new homes, apartments, offices, educational facilities and commercial and retail space across the cities and regions. With roots that stretch back to its inception in 1987, Kitchens R Us has evolved into a renowned kitchen designer and manufacturer, under the ownership of Russell and Deborah Reardon since 2006. The Reardon family’s passion for their craft is evident in every aspect of the business, with their three sons each contributing to its success, including operations manager Haydn Reardon. “We design and make beautiful kitchens, yes, but we’re a team equipped to handle a wide range of interior joinery projects, including laundry rooms, custom wardrobes and storage solutions, home offices and bespoke cabinetry,” says Haydn. “We’re just doing an absolutely fantastic wall-to-wall television cabinet for a customer at the moment.” Whether a customer walks into their Tauranga or Hamilton showroom with a fully developed concept or just a vague idea, the experienced team is ready to guide them through the entire process. “We hold your hand from start to finish,” says Haydn, highlighting the company’s commitment to customer satisfaction. In the realm of commercial and school joinery solutions, Kitchens R Us are experienced and capable contractors, having recently completed a commercial kitchen project in partnership with Watts & Hughes to fit out the I-Med new medical centre at Fraser Cove. They have also created custom whiteboard cabinets with sliding racks and cubbies underneath for storage within schools, says Haydn. “We’ve also partnered with Cape Construction in Auckland this year, to help install the kitchens and other joinery items that they needed at The Wilson Home Trust, which is a respite care facility for disabled children in Hauraki.” They also completed the shop-fittings for a major tool wholesale supplier says Haydn, which involved co-ordinating shop fit-outs as far afield as Invercargill. Kitchens R Us takes pride in its ability to manage projects from start to finish. After an initial consultation and site visit, the Kitchens R Us team designs a custom solution that suits both the client’s style and budget. Once approved, the project moves into the manufacturing phase and an installation date is set. Renovating a kitchen or fitting out a commercial space can be a stressful experience, but Kitchens R Us aims to make it as seamless as possible. “We worry about the tricky stuff, so our clients don’t have to,” says Haydn, “and we keep our customer informed through all stages from concept to completion – we’re committed to client satisfaction.” 07 574 3827 mojo@mojoelectrical.co.nz 68Tukorako Drive, Mount Maunganui MOJO ELECTRICAL IS PROUDTO SUPPORT KITCHENS R US.
