| 31 REGIONAL DEVELOPMENT Rotorua Lakes Council / Naylor Love: Rotorua Aquatic Centre The Rotorua Aquatic Centre caters for local, regional and national aquatic sports, and provides recreational, health, fitness and leisure programmes and services. A strong partnership between Rotorua Lakes Council, Naylor Love, Surfprep and key suppliers ensured great outcomes for all concerned while completing concrete repairs to the floor and walls of the Rotorua Aquatic Centre outdoor swimming pool. Surfprep took part in a collaborative process of developing an innovative and cost-effective solution to address the existing pool floor level issues. Based in Hamilton, Surfprep was started in 2005. The company delivers concrete remedial solutions to a range of clients across the commercial, industrial, civil, agricultural and residential industries. It has the capabilities to meet the needs of a nationwide client base dispatching staff and equipment to locations all around New Zealand. “We pride ourselves in completing jobs in less time and with less manpower than traditional methods, meaning less disruption and less true cost for our clients. On the Rotorua Aquatic Centre outdoor swimming pool project, Surfprep worked with Naylor Love’s QA system to ensure transparency of the work completed on site and that the daily environmental conditions required to ensure compliance with supplier specifications were adhered to.
