DEVELOPMENT » Abron Group B ay of Plenty developer Abron Group is set to launch further stages of its 66-lot develop- ment called 262 On the Reserve in Omokoroa. After completing Stage 1 in 2017 subsequent stages have been under civil development since then. With roading and services now in, Abron is currently embarking on the construction phase. Abron managing director Howard Scott says that 262 On the Reserve has been popular due to its coveted Omokoroa location situated close to amenities such as the sports reserve and skate park, Fresh Choice supermarket and cafes, as well as its proximity to Tauranga’s CBD and Bethlehem Town Centre. A small number of the remaining 40 sites are be- ing constructed by another local building company with Abron currently having only a limited number of house-and-land packages left for sale. “Interest is peaking since the lifting of the Covid 19 restrictions with a mixture of investors and owner/occupiers showing interest in the location,” says Abron’s sales and marketing manager Abbie Raleigh. Founded in 1998 Abron Group is involved from the ground up in all of its developments from sourc- ing land and working with industry professionals such as surveyors and engineers through to civil development (owning its own heavy machinery), titles, house design and construction. Howard says that this gives them good control over all aspects of the project, in particular quality and timing.
