The company’s staff are a big part of delivering on this vision “Many of our staff come from a rural background, which is a real advantage as they understand our customers and their needs. They have a real hands on, can-do attitude.” This is backed by constant investment in fleet. All trucks come equipped with GPS and technology which helps drivers to continue to improve their performance. There is connection between the trucks and the office so that orders and information can be moved quickly and efficiently with accurate tracing. Bulk Lines is a member of the Road Transport Forum, is ACC-accredited and a five star operator under the NZTA rating system. Charlie says that the company’s services are in demand in the cur- rent global climate and that the vision remains to provide quality transport for businesses nationwide through a friendly “can-do” philosophy. “It’s about taking care of the whole supply chain from start to finish....” Family focus: Charlie and Emma Telfer, with Jack, left, and Grayson.
