Proud to have our customers walk all over us. Industrial, Commercial, Domestic Electrical Installation & Maintenance Data & Communications, Switchboard Design & Manufacture Among the stand-out features of the Te Arai Links Visitors Accommodation project is its commitment to sustainability. The project champions environmentally conscious practices on both macro and micro scales, says Bryce. For example the project’s water source, harnessed from an on-site single catchment lake, underscores its self-sufficiency and eco-consciousness. A paramount focus on timber utilisation, from timber IT walls to truss roof structures, markedly reduces the embodied carbon footprint, underscoring the project’s dedication to a greener future. The architectural ingenuity is further exemplified through thoughtfully designed features, such as expansive overhangs that mitigate solar gain while optimising natural daylight. Additionally, the project’s approach to sanitary waste disposal attests to its commitment to leaving a minimal impact on the environment, ensuring responsible waste management without burdening external disposal infrastructure. Bryce says safety and wellbeing remained paramount throughout the project’s lifecycle. Stringent safety measures, including provision for medical assistance and fire hazard preparedness, were just some examples of the project’s holistic commitment to its workforce’s security. Current projects Macrennie Commercial Construction has underway include a large commercial/data centre for a national provider, a number of large format industrial projects through South Auckland for multiple clients and has two tower cranes erected on a multi story car park project for Fisher & Paykel Healthcare in Highbrook. It has also just completed the Pac’nSave in Warkworth and a number of micro-industrial projects in West Auckland. “At Macrennie, we recognise the intrinsic uniqueness that each construction project embodies,” says Bryce. “Consequently, our entire team is devoted to fostering a collaborative alliance with our clients, ensuring that every facet of the construction process attains the pinnacle of precision, quality, and cost-effectiveness. It is this commitment that has culminated in the attainment of our award-winning quality.”
