The company, known for its high-quality, bespoke designs, is expanding its presence in the rapidly growing suburb north of Auckland. “The show home will really demonstrate the high-quality custom designed builds Sicato Residential specialises in,” says Simon Bird, director of Sicato Residential. Set to open in December, the single-level, 190-square-metre home will feature four bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a range of luxurious amenities. It boasts an impressive list of features, including timber flooring throughout most of the living area, custom vanities in the bathrooms, a Gerard textured metal tile roof, and thermally broken aluminium joinery. Outdoor spaces are equally well appointed, with a kwila deck, a garden featuring a handmade water feature with lighting, and cedar-look slatted fencing for privacy and security. Sicato Residential’s comprehensive approach extends to include extensive landscaping. “It is just one of the things that sets us apart and shows our attention to detail and focus on quality right the way through the building process to the very end,” Simon says. Until the new show home is ready to view, people can still visit the existing show home at 49 Maurice Kelly Road, Milldale, which likewise showcases the company’s distinctive style. This 187-square-metre home features four bedrooms and a striking open-plan living area with vaulted raking ceilings soaring from 2.5 to four metres. “On every home we build, we try to add a personal, custom touch so the home stands out,” says Simon This attention to detail is evident in the ‘modern beach house’ aesthetic of the current show home, with its mix of feature cedar and pine weatherboard cladding and monopitch custom design. For those ready to make the move to Milldale, Sicato Residential has a completed home available for purchase at 33 Milldale Drive. The four-bedroom home offers a striking street appeal with honed block panelling and painted pine weatherboards. Inside buyers will find a designer kitchen with stone benchtops and a butler’s pantry, along with high-end features such as a Mitsubishi ducted air conditioning system and double-glazing throughout. Simon says that Sicato Residential also has three homes in the planning stages for Milldale’s stages 6a and 6b. “We only build a select number of homes each year because we want to maintain a focus on high quality,” he explains. “So if people are interested we suggest they get in touch sooner rather than later.” This commitment to quality has earned Sicato Residential numerous awards in the Registered Master Builders House of the Year competition since the company’s founding in 2001. Simon, a qualified builder and Registered Master Builder with over three decades of experience, personally manages all of the company’s projects. Having built in the area since 2009, first in Millwater and now in Milldale, Simon says that Sicato Residential is proud to be one of the select group of Milldale builders. The company is gearing up for at least another decade of construction in the area, focusing on creating homes for discerning buyers. Sicato Residential is expanding its presence in Milldale.
