The business has grown its sales, revenue has steadily increases year-on-year, the team has gone from six to seventeen and 3000sqm has been added onto the Ashburton based premises to cater for an increase in sales, servicing and parts. “It has been a successful decade,” says Simon Jackson, who in conjunction with his wife Emma, is the business’s joint venture owner. “It has been challenging, but I wouldn’t do anything else. We brought some new and exciting brands to the region. “Power Farming and Deutz Fahr was really unknown initially as were many of the other brands we sell. So it has been an exciting market to break into but I think that we’ve secured our spot in the market place, and that has been on the back of service. Service and support has been the backbone of our business and that’s how we’ve grown it. “We have a 24/7 philosophy here. My guys love the product and are passionate about what they do. Keeping Farmers and contractors farming is Number One.” • to page 77 Owned by the Maber family, the Power Farming Group is the Largest privately owned New Zealand farm machinery dealership in Australasia with operations in New Zealand, Australia and America. Kioti is South Korean and a major brand in New Zealand that has cemented itself in the compact tractor market place. Deutz Fahr has been an exciting product to offer to the local market and now many customers trust and believe in the product and our service behind it. It’s a real premium product and proving very well in the market place.” Independent of the Power Farming Group, Simon imports some niche product into the New Zealand market place.
