Hereford and Hereford cross cattle are in demand for this market. This year, Monymusk’s 35th annual on-farm bull sale will be held on Wednesday the 31st of May, a change from the Thursday that the sale is normally held on. In conjunction with BIDR, the online selling platform, 38 R2 Monymusk Polled Hereford bulls will be on offer. Chris says that despite having been through two very dry seasons, this year’s sale bulls are outstanding and are a reflection of Monymusk’s focus as commercial farmers to breed practical, sound, true to type Herefords that meet the demands of the end-quality markets. “Our clients are the most important part of our business and they know that if they miss out on bulls early in the sale the bottom end is rock solid,” says Chris.
