Sue Russell Ralph and Tina Garvin have proudly been leading northland-based Kaitaia Tractors Ltd since purchasing the business in 2007, though its history extends back many decades before this. Founded by Jack Ward back in the 1950’s and subsequently purchased by long-term employee, Clarence Foster, Ralph and Tina seized the opportunity to take over the busness 15 years ago. In this time, they have continued to grow its product and service offering, keen to supply customers a broad array of machinery, parts and service. “We’re fortunate to have an extensive, purpose built facility located in a prominent position on State Highway 1. Our great location is matched only by the quality of knowledge our experienced team has; they have helped us grow our reputation year on year,” says Ralph. Kaitaia Tractors Ltd has been in its current situation since 2000 when Clarence, realising the original premises weren’t going to future-proof the business, set up the purpose built facility at 169 North Road.
