The SMART beet have been bred to be tolerant to the CONVISO ONE herbicide, which means the spray has no impact on the beet. This allows spray applications to be targeted at the weeds rather than being aligned with the growth stage of the beet. CONVISO ONE is a truly broadspectrum herbicide developed by Bayer. It is highly effective against difficult weeds such as mallow, wire weed, willow weed and weed beet along with comprehensive grass control. CONVISO ONE’s reduced phytotoxic effect allows a wider spray window for application – a major advantage during the hectic growing season.
