Kelly Deeks A lpine Buildings NZ has a history of market-led innovation, with constant improvement part of the company’s mission to do things better every day. Alpine Buildings NZ has been widely known since the early 2000s as a specialist in agricultural and farm buildings, and its new generation UltraBay Alpine shed is the latest example of the firm’s many market-led building solutions. “The UltraBay system has evolved from the demands of the market,” says Alpine Buildings NZ marketing manager Sharnae Naysmith. “We are always listening to our customers, and they were asking for wider bays to store larger machinery and maximise storage. So we developed the UltraBay system, featuring a unique steel purlin design which provides bay widths of seven to 10 meters wide, more than twice the size of traditional bays.” Typically, standard shed designs will fit one machine or two hay bales per bay. Farmers have to navigate their way around poles and avoid risking damage to machinery. UltraBay clients are able to store three bales wide, making it quicker and easier to load the shed, and large implements side by side, meaning less wasted space in the shed, maximising the invest- ment, and adding long term value to the property. The UltraBay design has been created to align with the original market leading Alpine Build- ings system, and can be paired with either timber beam construction or with the revolutionary Alpine clearspan steel rafter design. From humble beginnings of building letterboxes in Timaru, Alpine Buildings quickly grew in the building industry providing the first truly complete RURAL SERVICES » Alpine Buildings NZ Ltd kitset shed on the market. Their focus on innovation saw the production of 12 metre and 15 metre clear span rafter system. Listening to their clients and the demand for wider clear spans, they later developed the 18 metre and 21 metre options as well. Their focus on the client and providing them an efficient and smarter investment has seen the development of the UltraBay system. “Our mission is to ‘do something better every day’ and this is something we really do live by to ensure our clients are given the best product and service possible” says Sharnae. “We developed the UltraBay system, featuring a unique steel purlin design which provides bay widths of seven to 10 meters wide, more than twice the size of traditional bays.” Knowing what’s best in the long run Canterbury Long Run Roo ng Timaru combines extensive local expertise and exceptional servicewith a broad and innovative product range, enabling you to enjoy the bene ts of best practical solutions and purchasing power.
