Jarrod Hook completed his engineering ap- prenticeship in the Navy, and started Hooked On Engineering in 2018, having gained another four years of maintenance engineering experience with various Marlborough wineries after his discharge. He has since grown Hooked On Engineering to nine staff, who work in maintenance engineer- ing and general engineering for a large number of wineries throughout Marlborough, as well as maintenance engineering for a number of local food processing plants and for Marlborough District Council.
