BrightPrint is a commercial offset printing operation based at Kaiata near Greymouth since 1994. Bringing pre-press technology and printing techniques together, BrightPrint provides better, faster, and more cost-effective print jobs without compromising on quality. BrightPrint is always looking for ways to move forward and for the past 18 months, this has meant expanding the premises and bringing in new and additional equipment. “We were lucky enough to secure a site right next door to our current building which meant we could integrate both buildings together,” says BrightPrint general manager Braden Gordon. “The most challenging part of this project was timing. It was critical that we had the building closed in ready for some large equipment to be lifted in and commissioned. Co-ordinating both the building project and machine install at the same time provided some real challenges, however, with the combined effort of the construction team from Tuatara Structures and our internal planners, we were able to achieve it.” The purpose-built extension has been designed and tailored specifically for packaging operations, serving as a dedicated facility to meet the demands of food, beverage, pharmaceutical, and retail packaging within Australasia. With a focus on flexibility and scalability, the premises are capable of accommodating additional growth into the future. From the layout to the equipment selection, every aspect of the premises has been strategically planned to maximise productivity and enhance the quality of packaging solutions. “This bespoke facility exemplifies our commitment to delivering excellence in packaging services,” Braden says. “It has set a solid foundation for us to continue our growth and best serve our loyal client base.” In the current economic environment, Braden says BrightPrint needs to act and react quickly, and by offering quick lead times and exceeding in communication and service, the company can help its clients to grow and find success within their own markets. BrightPrint delivers a small percentage of its products within the West Coast region, and stands right behind its local economy watching and helping it to thrive. “We service a lot of the local tourism operators with their printed marketing material, and are proud to be able to work within an environment that boasts some of the most awe-inspiring scenery in New Zealand.” BrightPrint has a practical, reliable, and down to earth team of staff who place a strong emphasis on customer response and service. “We provide an exceptional product manufactured through the various stages of production and passed through teams of dedicated and honest staff who work with a winning attitude,” Braden says. “They are the greatest asset we have. We foster a culture of continuous improvement and mutual encouragement and are committed to empowering our team members to strive for excellence in everything they do. I guess we’re not just colleagues – we’re a family, united by a shared commitment to excellence and a genuine care for each other’s success.” BrightPrint has a bright future with its increased capabilities setting it up to provide solid fibre cardboard packaging as the perfect alternative as the world continues to move away from plastic packaging.
