The South Island’s newest culinary destination, Ayrburn, has opened its doors and promises an experience like no other, says Lauren Christie, Winton General Manager Queenstown. “Since it opened its gates to the public on December 9th 2023, Ayrburn has offered people an experience to remember with unique venues, where heritage meets innovation, and a range of dining experiences to suit every taste and occasion,” says Lauren. Located between Queenstown and Arrowtown, Ayrburn boasts a history dating back over 150 years and has undergone extensive restoration and revitalization, with the assistance of local architectural practice SA Studio, and local contractors Cook Brothers Construction and The Builders. Winton, which specialises in developing integrated and fully masterplanned neighbourhoods, has spearheaded the project.
