other brands. Our strategy is business-to-business/business-t o-customer. We don’t go by retail channels, and our showrooms are set amongst other complementary suppliers. That works really well for us. We can leverage off similar suppliers and markets to our target customers’ clients, who are architects, interior designers, and specifiers, working on behalf of their clients.” Beautiful and high-quality, sustainable engineered timber flooring is HARO’s signature, with products that suit New Zealand’s commercial and residential markets. “The engineered oak timber flooring makes up the majority of our revenue base. Our most popular plank is 180mm but we also do wider 240mm planks, and in various colours. There are sixty different pre-finished colour tones in the 180mm range. The timber used in our products comes from HARO’s own forests, mostly within Germany, with mid layers from Scandinavia. While we just do flooring, over the last three years we have done just as much ceiling and wall panelling with our floor planks. That has been a massive gain for us, and saving builders a lot of time, energy and money, because of the products unique locking system and low levels of waste.” HARO New Zealand has just started to promote a bespoke range of handcrafted flooring, designed to achieve different looks, including frame sawn, worm holed, hand scraped and cross grain. Germany’s reputation for precision and high quality of its products precedes itself, and HARO flooring is absolutely no exception. Engineered to 13.5mm, because of its thermal dynamics the flooring is warranted up to 29° underfloor heating, which bodes well in many parts of New Zealand including the colder climes of Queenstown. With architects and homeowners increasingly aligning themselves to companies that have strong sustainable foundations and DNA, the HARO brand is becoming a preferred choice by many. With a small but highly motivated team, HARO New Zealand is proud of its product and the high level of service it offers to its clients throughout New Zealand. “We are delighted to be part of the resort’s first stage, and look forward to continuing our involvement through the project’s lifecycle.” Premium Engineered Timber Flooring made in Germany | For floors, ceilings and walls Showroom: 108 Spence Road, Lower Shotover Queenstown 0800 427 669 sales@haro.co.nz www.haro.co.nz
