INFRASTRUCTURE Pro-Civil Past projects include slip repairs for Dunedin City Council, Wingatui watermain upgrades installing around 1km of new 450mm HDPE main within the road corridor and up to depths of 3m and Carr Street sewer and stormwater renewal. T he latter project involved the renewal of 300m of 225mm PVC wastewater pipes and 200m of 375mm – 825mm concrete pipes. The depths to invert varied from 1.8m to 3.5m and works included the installation of precast manholes to 3.5m depth and the installation of laterals and connections to existing pipes. 10 tonne manholes were lifted into place by Hiab trucks and detailed connections for new concrete pipes included reinforced concrete corbels.
