With polished concrete floors, double glazing, Kwila decking and five-rib roofing, this smart new home and separate garage incorporate QuickSet foundation systems. “QuickSet simplifies and improves on the traditional foundation process by using a pre-finished PVC foam board that serves as both formwork and insulation,” Brad explains. The system not only reduces material usage and environmental impact, but also aligns with the latest HS1 standards for durability and energy efficiency. Highend Building also incorporates recycled plastics, enhancing sustainability. “With QuickSet, there’s no need for boxing or stripping formwork after concrete is poured,” says Brad. “It’s an all-inclusive system that ties back on to itself, and is stronger and provides better insulation than traditional foundations.” Another recently completed project by Highend Building is a designer townhouse in collaboration with Stonewood Homes, combining timeless grey brick with edgy black Linea Oblique cladding. An example of the building company’s versatility is a colonial-style new home at Riverton Rocks, which was completed in 2021 – mirroring the architectural charm of its era with its all-timber cladding and wrap around veranda. And just completed this October is a stunning new home featuring Sto exterior cladding that provides weather-tightness and durability, complemented by dark Linea weatherboards. Brad’s leadership and hands-on approach as an owner-operator ensure that each project remains on track, with open communication throughout the process.
