They have been carefully architecturally designed to stand out from each other, with a mix of cladding defining their exteriors. Kitchens and bathrooms are fully tiled, and have top-of-the-line appliances, following through on the intention that these homes should be built to the high standard the location merits, including a structure that far exceeds current building code requirements. “Being a civil engineer, my primary focus is to maintain the structural integrity of the building, which in this case, being ground plus two, there’s a lot of steel columns and beams installed making it strong and very resilient in the event of an earthquake, and which reflect the value of the house and its location,” explains Paul. “You cross the road and you’re in Hagley Park, it’s zoned for top schools, and there are three different layouts, which should appeal to a wide variety of people who all might have different boxes to tick in their search for a new home.” Christchurch Property Group has worked with KR Construction on previous subdivisions, and has relationships with many of their subcontractors going back 10 years.
