Ramahia says Parkside Quarries likes to encourage those interested in using Ōamaru stone in their construction project to start their journey by visiting the quarry to get a feel for the product and to understand how broad their options are. “With our CNC machine, we are basically unrestricted as to what we can provide,” she says. “We like to work alongside stonemasons to further streamline the process of creating and producing designs.” Parkside Quarries is an associate member of The New Zealand Stone Masons Association (NZSMA), and sees its role as one of support to the stonemason profession.
