"The challenging timeframes on this project and complex coordination with other contractors really showcased our team's ability to deliver,” says company owner Greg Winn. Greg founded his company in 2002 after transitioning from an engineering career in the forestry industry. Greg Winn Contracting tackles a wide variety of residential and commercial projects including all earthworks and retaining structures, carparks, building platforms, hard landscaping, drainage and aggregate supply. Greg says the College Street project is a good example of Greg Winn Contracting’s comprehensive service o ering. It involved transforming a green eld site, extensive drainage works, building preparation and concrete yard development and vehicle crossing including kerb and channel installation and tra c management. It’s just one of many projects for Totalspan Greg Winn Contracting has undertaken with another underway, another warehouse project in Richmond for one of Totalspan's clients. Clients include Tasman District Council, Totalspan and a range of commercial and residential builders, as well as private clients. Current works include challenging residential developments such as cut and ll house sites on hillsides and retaining wall construction. It has also been actively involved in remediation works following the signi cant weather event of 2022, helping property owners repair slips and other earthworks. Greg says work is largely the result of work from repeat clients and referral.
