BUILDING Despite its reputation for high-end, custom-built homes, Tomlins Building Ltd is keen to dispel the myth that quality comes with an exorbitant price tag. “As we are known for our high-class buildings, people think we won’t be available or will be too dear – but we have proven otherwise,” managing director Paul Tomlins says. “We can often offer a quote that is very competitive with other building companies.” A family-run business based in Invercargill, Tomlins Building operates throughout the region, including in Queenstown and Arrowtown, and has been a trusted name in the construction industry for more than 30 years. Unlike many builders, Tomlins Building employs all its own staff, rather than outsourcing to building contractors, and supplies quality contractors that have been used on many projects.
