Eco-friendly performance Q ualified electrician Marcos DaSilva has taken his skills from Brazil to Christchurch and is happy to be assist- ing New Zealand with its housing shortage. Marcos has been active in the construction industry since his teenage years and moved to New Zealand, in 2007. He spent five years in Auckland working as a painter and decorator before moving to Christchurch in 2012. Initially working for other companies, just three years later Marcos, who is a Christian, felt called to start his own business. In 2014 Marcos Construction was born to provide customers with a high quality and efficient service in many areas of the construc - tion industry. Since that time Marcos Con- struction has gone from strength to strength working for a variety of clients offering a range of services including painting and decorating, carpentry, electrical work, building washing, plastering, flooring, timber windows and doors, concrete pouring, precast panel instal- lation, GIB stopping, brickwork and thermal and acoustic insulation.
