Ben grew up on a high country farm, where repurposing telegraph poles, chainsaw milling trees from the farm and repurposing stone from old barns and walls was part of everyday life. After an initial 10 years of working on architectural builds throughout the basin, Ben decided it was time to start Abode Architectural Build Team. “Having been based in Queenstown for over 20 years, I felt I had established a supportive, passionate and dedicated team of sub-trades and construction professionals whose craftsmanship and work ethics aligned with mine, to collaborate with.” The home is very thermally efficient, with MaxRaft slab providing ease of heating and cooling, high levels of insulation and recessed thermally broken joinery Ben is on-site and hands-on with every build, working with his team to deliver outstanding results. “At Abode, I believe we are more than a team of carpenters, we’re partners in realising your build vision. “We listen, guide, and collaborate with our clients throughout the process.
