Over 220 sections have been sold to date since the start of development in 2017. “Most of the sites here are flat, which is reassuring for people who may feel a little nervous about building on a hill. We’ve also got sound covenants in place to protect the value of the properties here, and to ensure that everyone retains a good view.” Today, Cashmere Estate is well-known for its luxury homes, tranquil natural setting and beautiful views. The market has been quick to respond to the pinnacle opportunity now available at Ridgeline. Of 41 sections in Ridgeline’s first stage, two-thirds have already sold. Buyers include people that have previously bought a section and built a home at Cashmere Estate and are keen to explore this latest new option. “We’ve also had a lot of demand from people wanting to move to Christchurch from Wellington, Tauranga and Auckland, who are drawn to the resort-town feel here, as well as easy access to the CBD. “We’re attracting a good mix of people, from young families through to retirees.” Exciting news for those following the evolution of Cashmere Estate is that this is just the start for Ridgeline. In total, 180 elevated sections are in the development plan. “There are four more stages to come, with new releases planned every 10 months.” Sections currently for sale at Ridgeline range from 650sqm to 906sqm, priced from $625,000 to $795,000.
