PO Box 2011, Wakatipu E: mark@kerbcentral.co.nz 027 438 2365 Proudly supporting Benchmark Construction and Wooing Tree Estate Development Proud to be associated with Veros Property C onstruction at the new, boutique Wooing Tree Estate is now underway, with the game-changing development now coming to life and excited section own- ers looking forward to living their good life amongst the vines in Cromwell. Wooing Tree is a family owned and oper- ated vineyard where owners Steve and Thea Farquharson make pinot with passion. They will retain their award-winning busi- ness within the estate and the cellar door, which will be relocated to the retail/tourism hub in Stage Two, will be a pivotal part of the vibrant new neighbourhood. Steve and Thea have worked hard on their Wooing Tree brand, and this development will retain the prestige and importantly, the grapes whichj Wooing Tree has become famous for. A significant number of vines will surround the new sites, making Wooing Tree Estate a unique offering in the market. To help realise their vision, Steve and Thea have engaged the services of experienced development manager Veros Property, which is thrilled to be part of this exciting project. “We believe strongly in the neighbourhood we are creating,” says Veros senior develop- ment manager Sean Haynes. “It is going to be an invaluable part of the Cromwell community.” Sustained demand for housing in Cromwell also makes this a winner for Veros, and Sean says the town has been earmarked as an area of significant growth for the next few years. “Unlike its tourism centric neighbours, Cromwell has a broad economy. It’s recog- nised as the wine and stone fruit growing capital of New Zealand, it has a wonderful lake, and it’s the starting point for the massive cycle trail industry in Central Otago. “Its accessibility to picturesque tourist hotspots has made it a popular place to live, offering an ideal solution for those seeking a home in Central Otago, away from the hustle and bustle of the main centres.” Stage one of the Wooing Tree Estate de- velopment comprises 33 residential sections, ranging in size from 500sqm to 1000sqm. Civil works by Benchmark Construction are expect- ed to be complete by February 2021. Since going to market in May this year, sec- tion sales have been strong, as has enquiry, with Veros Property Services fielding calls from across New Zealand and overseas. New section owners include locals, ex-pats, and local building companies. Following an extensive and thorough pro- cess to select build partners for the Wooing Tree Estate, Steve, Thea, and the Veros team have now signed up four local design and build companies who have made a long term commitment to this ground-breaking devel- opment. “We are delighted with our build partners and we have collaborated with them all to ensure they are all on board with the quality that Wooing Tree Estate needs to deliver,” says Sean. “It is critical we build quality houses which will underpin the long-term and enduring value of this new neighbourhood.” Barrett Homes, G.J. Gardner Homes, Land- mark Homes, and Mike Greer Homes have purchased land and will be building a show home on their chosen sites at the gateway to Stage 1 at Wooing Tree Estate. Although each of these show homes will be quite different, they will all have a similar look in terms of style and materiality, thanks to the design overlay put in place by award-winning master planners, Baxter Design.
