There is good opportunity for capital gain with early purchases in Rockdale Mews having already increased in capital value by 20% and, in the case of people who own the homes as their primary place of residence, any capital gain is tax free under the Government’s bright-line property rules, Chris says. Although the market had slowed, confidence is returning “right across the board” with interest rates and inflation stabilising, he says.
