Community Patrols WE NEED YOU! For a neighbourhood to become a community you need to feel safe in it. CPNZ (Community Patrol, New Zealand) is a community-based volunteer organisation who help the Police to make local communities safer environments to live in. They provide extra ‘eyes and ears’, patrol local streets in sign written vehicles, and undertake surveillance and observations. Our aim - to be a deterrent, to stop the crimes before they happen. Do you want to make a difference in your community? Community Patrols are made up of everyday people, from all walks of life. There are Community Patrol groups in most areas of the Auckland region – who are always on the lookout for new members. Would you like to be part of the team? Full training and uniforms are supplied. Police Security Clearance check required. Contact your District representative to find out more.
