Welcome to our 2023/24 magazine! We have had big changes since our last edition. Recently, Louise Grevel, one of our NSW Coordinators, accepted her new role as CEO of NSNZ. Huge congratulations to Louise! Louise started with NSW in 2010 as the Junior NS Coordinator, then in 2011 shared the NS Waitakere Coordinator role with Sharon. Louise & Sharon have exponentially grown NS Waitakere. We know that because of Louise’s experience, the knowledge she takes with her puts NSNZ in great hands. NSW also took over NS North Shore in 2022 when the NSNS committee dissolved. We were lucky to find our newest team member, Rebecca Smith, who became the NSNS Coordinator at the end of 2022. Rebecca will also share the NSW Coordinator role with Sharon. We would like to acknowledge the patience & support of our NSNS street contacts & members while these changes have been implemented. Thanks to Sharon’s diligence we have still been able to provide the same consistent service to the NS Waitakere area. We are looking forward to the changes & challenges ahead of us as we support & grow NSNS & maintain the platform we have in NSW. None of this would be possible without our committee. We thank them for their steadfast support & commend them for their ongoing enthusiasm & passion. Additionally, we would like to thank our funders & supporters, without whom we wouldn’t be here.
