Both Natasha and Clem are deeply rooted in their local community. Clem is a highly experience builder with more than two decades on the tools across residential, commercial and farm projects. “He actually started out as my dad’s apprentice!” observes Natasha, who is from a five-generation building family. “Over two decades ago, he began working on residential, school and commercial projects then with the dairy boom moved to building multiple dairy sheds, specialising in agricultural construction. Clem also spent years in London working on high-end residential and heritage projects.” That cumulative experience has shaped Clem’s knack for problem solving and his keen eye for detail. His skills are complemented by Natasha’s expertise in systems and structured project delivery, stemming from her background in education and work as a public servant in government. Adding to the strength of this business is Natasha’s father, Antony Groenewegen, who has joined them to help lead the team. It’s a great full-circle twist to have the man who first trained Clem now working for Construction South as construction manager and bringing decades of invaluable technical leadership to the mix.
