The dairy awards have done a lot for us.” The Awards committee are all volunteers and all dairy farmers, working for the best of the programme. Amber says their biggest challenge as a collective is making sure they are doing the right thing for the programme and dairy farmers in general. “We don’t ever want to let anybody down. We’ve made huge changes to the programme and we want to make sure we’re leading it in the right direction. “We know we can’t please everybody, but as long as we’re satisfying the majority and moving in the right direction for the industry we will be happy.”
