ECC Conference 2023 Social Events The Early Childhood Council is proud to bring you an exciting selection of events to accompany this year's conference. Check out what's available and make sure to book in before it all sells out. Welcome Reception The Welcome Reception is hosted on opening night (Friday 21 July) in the Exhibition Hall, and is free for all conference registrants. Delegates are treated to canapes and receive a free drink to enjoy, a cash bar will be available. It's a great opportunity to reflect on the first day of conference and discuss what you've learnt and what you've enjoyed with other delegates. Tickets included in conference registration. 'Wellywood' Gala Dinner The Red Carpet will be laid this year for the ECC's Wellywood Gala Dinner. We will be celebrating the vibrant art and culture this beautiful city has to offer. Dress up in your finest glam or pay tribute to your favourite films and actors. There will be spot prizes for best dressed on the night. Guests will be treated to a three course meal and a free drink on entry. You will then be able to dance the night away to popular local band 'Uncle Monkey'. A cash bar is also available. Tickets sold seperately - $125 per person ECC Members Networking Session ECC will be hosting an exclusive networking event for Members only on Thursday 20 July. You will receive a seated lunch at Tākina and be surrounded by likeminded centre managers and owners. Chief Executive Simon Laube will provide an update on ECC’s priorities and how members can be engaged. We will be seeking to try and strengthen how ECC works in your area.
