Where is it in Town? By Ned Barraud Potton & Burton; RRP: $21.99 Paperback This book is the sister to Barraud’s Where is it? book, with this book focussing on wildlife tamariki may encounter in town through a ‘look and find’ format. Each page comes alive with stunning illustrations including gardens during the day and night, in the trees, in native reserves, at the wharf and on the edge of town. I have the Where is it? book in my early learning centre and although they are marketing the book from 4+ I know that younger tamariki enjoy the ‘look and find’ format, and it’s a great way for tamariki to learn the names of different wildlife as they find the illustrated creatures or birdlife, matching name to creature.
