T T to page 60 Forty years is a significant milestone in any industry, but particularly in one as demanding and constantly evolving as industrial supply and conveyor systems. Founded by Robin Russell in Dunedin in 1986, Russet Engineering began as a small regional operation supplying v-belts, chains and conveyor products. It has steadily grown into one of New Zealand’s leading providers of conveyor systems, industrial transmission and industrial hose solutions. Established during a challenging economic period, Russet Engineering was built on practical industry knowledge, strong customer relationships and a determination to provide reliable service and quality products. Those foundations remain just as important today as they were four decades ago. From its early beginnings servicing Otago-based customers, Russet saw demand quickly expand throughout the South Island before it eventually grew into a nationwide operation. Today, Russet operates 10 branches throughout New Zealand, including Invercargill, Dunedin, Christchurch, Nelson, Palmerston North, New Plymouth, Napier, Te Puke, Hamilton and Auckland. This nationwide network supports a range of industries, including quarrying, mining, recycling, forestry, ports, manufacturing, agriculture, food processing and bulk material handling, allowing Russet to provide responsive sales, service and technical support from the Far North to the Deep South.
