People come in and sit on the couch and relax and often they come back bringing other friends to see what we’ve achieved.” Rod says Richard Kalin and his team of builders did an incredible job, their eye for detail was outstanding, while Rod’s wife Lisa took care of all the interior designs beautifully. “She spent months working on how the home would be furnished and that passion and effort has certainly been realised in the quality and feel of what’s inside the home.” The decision to enter ‘Bespoke on Brooklands’ in the House of the Year event was, in part, driven by a wish to be judged among other entries. “It was also because we’re just so proud of this home and everyone connected with its design and construction.
