When NZ Dairy spoke with Trudi she estimated about 9 sheds were on the go at various stages. “Life-style block owners amount to a significant percentage of our customers. We’re currently building a timber pole one for the owners horses. We design and build our sheds to each specific situation. Our standard design sheds have steel portals, but we are flexible to the customer needs. It’s important we understand what the purpose of the shed will be as this impacts design elements such as the height of the opening.” Working with Trudi and Andrew is Garry Tubby who takes care of sales. The dedicated shed building team amounts to three and Trudi says they’ve had that team now a solid five years. “When we’re very busy Andrew will also go on the tools. Day to day, Trudi says, the hire business is very busy. “So between our own storage unit projects, the back-bone of designing and building bespoke sheds for clients, and the hire business, there’s a good level of work happening.” Trudi says she’s confident as the residential market gains traction, that further projects will come servicing that sector. “I’m pleased with the position of our business in the market.
