More time at home for many in these Covid times has also spurred renovation demand, as home owners realise how much they needed that extra toilet, or how much more comfortable their home could be with more lounge space. “Land is at a premium, especially in the Mount and Papamoa, but even in Tauranga there are a lot of beautiful old homes that will all need to be done up eventually. We like the renovation projects because Jimmy always likes a challenge, and we get to work more closely with the client as things can often change during a renovation. When our team is working around a family who is staying in their home during their renovation, they become a part of the family as well.
