| 67 PGC Constructors & The Tool Shed REGIONAL DEVELOPMENT The ToolShed Te Rapa including head office, web store and warehousing. The ToolShed Directors - Graeme and Wayne Giles. Today the company continues to work with trusted manufacturers to source selected products under The ToolShed brand and distribute them throughout New Zealand. Products are supported by extended warranties giving customers confidence in the equipment they choose. The emphasis is on dependable tools, informed advice and service that continues well beyond the initial purchase. The ToolShed has recently invested in purpose-built stores in Taupō, Hastings and Masterton strengthening its presence across regional New Zealand. Some of these developments have involved fellow NZ-owned businesses including PGC Constructors Ltd and trusted subcontractors such as the team at Solpro Coatings. Each store has been designed with its local community in mind, giving tradespeople, businesses and DIY customers convenient access to a broad range of tools and equipment, supported by knowledgeable teams who understand the products and how they’re used. Forty-five years on from the beginnings of Giles Industries the principles established in those early days remain recognisable: understand what customers need, offer reliable equipment and provide practical support. With 31 stores nationwide The ToolShed continues to build relationships with customers and the communities it serves.
