The project required full-height scaffolding, which enabled a completely sealed work zone, given the food-grade facility requirements, and heavy machinery to break out the existing concrete and construct the new floor and foundation. Canopy Imaging Hastings was a project purpose-built from the ground up, which Boris says brings state-of-the-art technology to Hawke’s Bay. It was a design Pro-Structure was involved in from the start right through to delivery of the building. Pro-Structure typically has three to four jobs underway at any one time, with capacity to take on more as demand requires.
