Booth’s Group REGIONAL DEVELOPMENT Booth’s Logistics is strengthening its North Island operations with significant investment in both Auckland and Whangārei, as the company continues its mission to deliver seamless national freight and warehousing solutions. The company, which has proudly grown from its regional roots into one of New Zealand’s most trusted logistics providers, has seen rapid growth in freight volumes over the past few years particularly across the upper North Island. In response, it has added new sales resources in Auckland and unveiled plans for a major logistics hub to consolidate its existing sites. “At the moment we have multiple warehouse sites in Auckland and we are looking to bring those under one roof to service all our customers’ logistics needs, both warehousing and freight,” says Dallas Vince, Chief Executive Officer of Booth’s Logistics. Currently Booth’s operates from three separate warehouse sites in Auckland but within the next 24 months it expects to establish the multi-purpose logistics hub designed to streamline operations and enhance customer experience. Dallas says the new site will serve as a central hub for both regional and national freight, creating faster, more efficient movement of goods throughout the country. Booth’s also continues to strengthen its direct services from Auckland, offering faster delivery times and improved reliability. “We run express trucks that go direct into the North Island every night from Auckland, picking up customers’ freight on a Monday for delivery in Christchurch on a Wednesday,” says Dallas. “It’s a quick, straightforward service that customers really value.” Booth’s has also made a substantial investment further north, with the opening of a new, larger general freight facility in Whangārei. The new site complements its existing presence in the area. “This is a much larger facility that can handle our growing freight volumes for the next few years,” says Dallas. “Our service offer has gone extremely well since we set up in Northland. Customers love what we do for them and value the connection we have with the rest of New Zealand and the Far North.” The company’s produce network in the region was first established about three years ago following the acquisition of The Produce Connection. Since then, Booth’s has steadily expanded, adding general freight operations around 18 months ago. Dallas says the new Whangārei site represents the next stage of this growth, providing the infrastructure needed to support future demand. Founded originally as a regional produce transporter moving potatoes from the Manawatū to Auckland markets, Booth’s has grown into a full-service logistics provider with 22 locations across New Zealand. Its provincial strength remains at the heart of its identity. “We’re very strong in the provinces and service all the towns with local operators who know their customers and communities,” says Dallas. They’re proud of the work they do and that pride shows in the quality of service we deliver.” Booth’s now manages more than 130,000sqm of warehousing nationwide and continues to invest in technology, including its B Connected customer portal, which offers real-time tracking, booking, and carbon emissions data. With new infrastructure underway in Auckland and Whangārei, Dallas says the company is positioning itself to meet the growing logistics demands of customers across the country. “We’re evolving with our customers’ needs, building capacity, improving connectivity and ensuring we can deliver the same trusted Booth’s service wherever it’s needed.” CENTRALGROUP.CO.NZ 0800 538 735 Proud to be a trusted partner of With expert guidance from our Sales team & experienced Technicians on ļƥƥхǵƉŧƎǠхƮļǵŧǠƎļƥхƉļưşƥƎưƁхɮŧŧǵ EQUIPMENT TALK TO OUR TEAM TODAY abequipment.co.nz | 0800 30 30 90 Your Toyota & Nilfisk Equipment Specialists > 18 Branches Nationwide > Specialists in Material Handling, Construction, Forestry and Municipal Equipment > 24/7 Parts & Service Support
