| 29 Bloxam Burnett & Olliver REGIONAL DEVELOPMENT A recent prominent project for BBO was a collaboration with Hamilton City Council (HCC) and local iwi to provide the new Te Ara Pekapeka Bridge over the Waikato River, forming a northern gateway into the planned Peacocke development. “BBO’s achievements demonstrate a willingness and readiness to think differently, work collaboratively and embrace complexity.” In another impactful contribution for Hamilton City, BBO has been involved in all the infrastructure works — including roads, stormwater, wastewater infrastructure and other enabling works — for first stage industrial development (190ha) of Tainui Group Holdings’ Ruakura Superhub project, with further stages to come. BBO is currently providing high level consenting (FTAA) and other professional engineering services for two NZTA Roads of National Significance (RoNS) projects in Tauranga: Takitimu North Link Stage 2 and the Tauriko West project.
