Aquaheat is a proudly 100% New Zealand-owned and operated company, delivering end-to-end building services and facilities maintenance solutions nationwide. Established in 1950, we have evolved from our origins in HVAC mechanical installation and maintenance to become a leading provider of integrated facility services. Our expertise now spans HVAC, mechanical, plumbing, boilers, gas fitting, electrical, fire protection, refrigeration, data, carpentry, and general handyperson services. We are proud to have delivered the HVAC mechanical services for Site 6 of the Wynyard Quarter Innovation Precinct (Stage 3), a flag ship development along Auckland’s waterfront, led by Precinct Properties. As part of this high-performance, sustainability-focused commercial precinct, Aquaheat was responsible for the supply, installation, and commissioning of mechanical systems across multiple buildings, including 124 Halsey Street and 117 Pakenham Street. In collaboration with our long-standing delivery partner Hawkins, and alongside Mott MacDonald, whose work we know well, Aquaheat provided fully integrated HVAC solutions tailored to meet the project’s ambitious 6 Green Star and 5 Star NABERSNZ performance targets. Our scope included high-efficiency chilled water systems, air handling units, intelligent building controls, and comprehensive air and water balancing services. The strong partnership with Hawkins was instrumental in ensuring smooth delivery and effective management of the project’s complexity.
