Established in 2019 the company has grown steadily across Hawke’s Bay, Manawatu and Wairarapa, delivering rural, lifestyle and horticultural fencing solutions backed by decades of hands-on farm experience. “This work comes naturally to us because we’ve lived and breathed farming our whole lives,” explains Nick Peacock. “What sets us apart is our understanding of stock flow and practical farm systems. Having mustered on some of the biggest hill country stations in New Zealand and cattle stations in Australia means I know exactly how cattle and sheep move and what makes a fence safe, strong and workable.” “Because a lot of the stations we were on had major development work underway, including fencing, we’ve experienced it from the client side as well,” explains Amy. “That experience now guides the standard Ridgeline Fencing works to. We build fences that meet the level we would have demanded ourselves.” Nick grew up on a farm in Central Hawke’s Bay, worked on farms overseas and has managed large hill-country stations in New Zealand. Today he and Amy run a small mob of breeding cows and sheep on a lifestyle block and leased land in Waipukurau, keeping them firmly connected to the needs of the rural community. Amy’s background in animal health and Primary ITO education adds another dimension. Her involvement in local horse sport also gives the business a specialist edge with equestrian clients. Ridgeline Fencing offers farm, rural, lifestyle and residential fencing, retaining walls and minor earthworks. It has completed varied projects for a broad range of clients, ranging from small repairs and maintenance, subdivisions to large scale civil and farming fencing projects.
