Amarok Homes is stepping into largescale subdivision development with two new Rolleston projects that are expected to bring nearly 50 new sections and house-and-land packages to the fast-growing Selwyn town. “This is a new adventure for Amarok Homes and we are really excited about it,’ says one of the company directors, Ritu Singh. “Rolleston continues to grow quickly, and buyers want homes that are close to schools, shops and amenities, while still offering standalone living and good outdoor space.” The developments are located on Springston-Rolleston Road in a central part of Rolleston, directly opposite Rolleston College and close to retail and supermarket facilities. One of the sites, spanning 12,000sqm, has already received consent and will deliver 26 sections ranging in size from approximately 300sqm to 350sqm. Amarok Homes has already released a limited number of sections to the market. A second neighbouring site of approximately 9000sqm will provide a further 23 sections of similar size, along with an existing home that will also be sold. “Later this year we will release a selection of house-and-land packages as well,” says Ritu. “There has already been strong enquiry, because people can see the convenience of the location.” The company says affordability remains central to the project, with a focus on maintaining a sharp price point for first-home buyers, families and downsizers. “Our buyers are often working within tight budgets, so it is important that when they choose Amarok Homes they know they are getting quality materials and a home built to last,” says Ritu. “We are very focused on delivering value without compromising workmanship.” Founded in 2020 by Christchurch-based Master Builder, Kieran Finn, and chartered accountant, Ritu, the company has built a reputation for delivering affordable, well-specified homes with a hands-on approach to project management and construction quality. A key point of difference for Amarok Homes is its in-house construction model. Rather than outsourcing projects entirely to external contractors, the company employs builders directly and owns its own equipment, giving it greater oversight over build quality and project timing. Kieran, who grew up in a family of builders in Galway, Ireland, brings decades of international construction experience to the role. After working in Ireland, America, Australia and New Zealand, he established Finn Carpentry Services, before launching Amarok Homes alongside Ritu. “Kieran is very hands-on and personally monitors projects throughout the build process,” says Ritu. “That gives us strong control over quality and timelines, because we are directly involved every step of the way.” Every Amarok Homes property is backed by a 10-year Master Builder structural guarantee, and Ritu says the emphasis is on transparency, communication and support throughout the building journey. Amarok Homes’ services range from land acquisition through to completed homes and renovations, while also tailoring designs to suit clients’ individual lifestyles and needs.
