Director Amanda Walak says the company’s investment in a new CNC machine and laser edge-bander represents a major upgrade to its production line and will support growing demand from both residential and commercial clients. Amanda says the new CNC machine is considerably larger than the factory’s previous model, allowing the team to work with sheet sizes up to 3.6m. “Our old CNC was limited to 2.4m, so this is a big jump in capacity,” she says. “We also installed a crane lift which is a total game changer to our guys’ health and safety while working with such huge sheets of board.” The laser edge-bander offers a high-quality finish that Amanda says customers are already noticing. “The finish is immaculate. It’s a better result for our clients and gives us more confidence in the level of detail we can achieve.” The upgrades support Nasko’s commitment to quality craftsmanship, which Amanda describes as the foundation of their work since the company was established in 2011.
