Jackson Crooks Building BUILDING The team at Jackson Crooks Building in Gore combines experience with youth and the latest technology to bring their clients’ ideas to life. As a young company, founded in 2021, Jackson Crooks Building has grown quickly, and attracted some big clients, building standout new homes and large dairy projects over the past few years. At just 26, Jackson is looking to double his team of five this year, and continues to be laser-focused on client care, quality and efficiency. “We’re nimble and ready to go the extra mile, whether that’s adjusting timelines for a client, or sourcing premium materials for a custom home build.” Right now, about 40% of their workload is in dairy and farm infrastructure – constructing dairy sheds, implement sheds and concrete works, such as feed pads. “These are often high-stakes projects where efficiency is key to minimising downtime on the farm,” Jackson says. Another 30% is renovations, from modernising heritage homes to full kitchen and bathroom overhauls where they blend old charm with contemporary functionality. The remaining work is shifting towards new residential builds, including custom family homes and multi-unit developments, as they are seeing more demand from families and investors in the region.
