Since starting in 1980, the company has grown from humble beginnings manufacturing truck and motorcycle tiedowns to become the country's largest tiedown supplier, now o ering more than 100 di erent products across diverse industries. We have had customers bring in tiedowns more than 16 years old and they were still working," says Chris. Aerofast Tiedown's products are speci ically engineered for Australia and New Zealand's demanding conditions, using high-quality materials that resist UV degradation, corrosion and wear. The company maintains complete control over its manufacturing process, weaving all webbing in-house and handling cutting and sewing at its Christchurch factory. It produces over two million metres of webbing annually using nearly 100 tonnes of yarn, re lecting the scale of its operations. Aerofast Tiedown's product range spans multiple sectors, from DIY and handyman applications to marine, motorcycle, towing and recovery, trades, trucking and warehouse operations. The company's lexibility extends to custommanufacturing, allowing clients to specify unique lengths, strengths or features according to their requirements. The company o ers personalised solutions including custom name weaving into webbing for orders as small as ten tiedowns. "At Aerofast Tiedowns, we understand that one size doesn't it all. The extensive retail network includes major outlets such as ITM, Mitre10, Placemakers, Carters, Farmlands and Blackwoods, ensuring widespread availability across New Zealand. Export operations extend to Australia, with recent expansion into the American market demonstrating the company's continued growth. As New Zealand's only dedicated tiedown manufacturer, Chris says that Aerofast Tiedowns continues to innovate.
