Signature Homes Christchurch South has recently launched two new show homes side by side in Earlsbrook, Lincoln. “Designed to appeal to first-home buyers, downsizers and investors, the homes also demonstrate two different approaches to building with Signature Homes,” says one of the franchise owners, Mark Buckenham. The 132sqm Earlsbrook show home at 31 Earlsbrook Boulevard has been built to the Signature Series specification, showcasing the quality and inclusions provided as standard. With four bedrooms, two bathrooms, openplan kitchen, dining and living areas and a single garage, Mark says the design has been created to fit comfortably on many sections within Earlsbrook, and demonstrates how careful planning can provide an affordable home without compromising on comfort. Next door, at 33 Earlsbrook Boulevard, the popular Rifleman design offers three bedrooms, a spacious master suite, double garage and practical open-plan living. Its combination of Linea Oblique and brick cladding gives the home a contemporary yet timeless exterior. It also demonstrates a selection of common upgrades, including tiled bathrooms and showers, skylights, an engineered stone bench top and a Hardie Groove feature wall in the master bedroom. Mark, who is an owner alongside Rhys Gould and Kathryn Mitchell, says both show homes are the gateway to a new-home build in Earlsbrook. or any of the other locations where Signature Homes is offering houseand-land packages, including Darfield, Kirwee, Leeston, Prebbleton, Rolleston, Southbridge and West Melton. “We have a really experienced local team, and most of us live in the areas where we are building,” says Mark. “That means we can help people work out what area might suit them, as well as taking them through the building process.” He says Earlsbrook is a key focus, with the development expected to continue for another decade. Developed by Carter Group, the subdivision is planned to ultimately include about 2000 sections.“We are committed to Earlsbrook for the long term,” says Mark. “It is a significant development and gives us the opportunity to offer a range of house- and-land options as the community grows.” Darfield Estates is another option. The growing Darfield area offers what Mark describes as “really good value” for clients, with sections and house-and-land packages available in the development. Westhaven in Rolleston is also being added to the portfolio with development expected to start next year. Mark says it will ultimately be larger than Earlsbrook and provide further opportunities for buyers wanting to build in one of Canterbury’s fastest-growing areas. The new show homes have also arrived at an encouraging point in the market. “The market is steady at the moment, but we are expecting a strong uplift later this year and into early next year,” says Mark. “We are fortunate in Canterbury to have strong migration, job growth and good economic conditions.” Both new show homes are open Thursday to Sunday from noon to 4pm, giving prospective buyers an opportunity to explore the designs, meet the team and discuss houseand-land packages throughout Canterbury.
